|
Transponders marked HD # transmit the listed number of national HD channels. Transponders marked RSN # transmit the listed number of RSN feed channels (a second # reflects additional HD). Slots available are calculated based on eight HD channels per transponder. (Some transponders have additional data feeds as marked.)
Transponders marked QPSK or 8PSK have SD channels, Locals transponders have local channels (HD and SD), Latino transponders have DISH Latino channels. Transponders marked Spots have multiple spotbeams carrying locals (or HD to Alaska/Hawaii/Puerto Rico). Transponders marked AAD are leased to All American Distants/NPS for their distant networks service.
Most HD channels have multiple mirrors - only one occurance of each channel per transponder is counted.
Red shaded transponders are available to DISH Network but have but have no active channels. (On 61.5 TP 23 and 24 are available for temporary programming per the FCC.)
Gray shaded transponders are not available to DISH Network. (On Western Arc these transponders are licensed to DirecTV.)
Black shaded transponders are not available to DISH Network in the US. These transponders are used to serve DISH Mexico customers in Mexico.
